After a fantastic race this morning (or afternoon and evening, depending on where you’re at) Michael Schumacher announces that he is retiring at the end of the season.
This goes without saying but it’ll really be wrong when he goes. I started watching the sport in the later days of Senna, and that’s a million years ago. This feels like when the other Michael retired from his sport — that first time — basketball hasn’t been the same since.
On the bright side, Kimi Raikkonen will join Ferrari next year.
