It was just a couple days ago I was musing about the good life in Spain and today I read on Towleroad about a couple of Spanish military men tying the knot.
The civil wedding ceremony was held at the town hall and there were about 100 in attendance. Best of all the mayor of Seville officiated the ceremony. Mayor Alfredo Sánchez MonteseirÃn said, “This is not just your wedding. You symbolize millions of people who are not here and suffer from homophobia. The city will protect your rights.”
*sniff, sniff* Baby steps. Baby steps, y’all.
