For the first time in a very long time USC has lost in the regular season. It was in September of 2003 when Cal beat USC in a heart-breaking triple overtime classic. Today, the Oregon State Beavers defeated the Trojans 33 to 31 in a not so classic match. Ugh. 
This loss will drop USC from the BCS race. Seriously, fuhgedaboutit. And about the Pac 10 championship, well…I’m not crazy and I knew this SC team was going to struggle in all manner. I’m hoping we come out of this season with only this solitary loss. The one last sliver of hope is the knowledge that Coach Carroll does not lose in November.
