Apparently tickets are “selling like hot cakes” for the tennis event that exists to create as much irony in my life as possible:
“There are about 12,000 seats for each of the matches and only about 5% of tickets are available for the Clash of Times match. The ticket demand for both matches has been exceptionally strong,” he added.
“Both matches” refers to the one between Sampras and Federer, billed as the Clash of Times, and the other between Rafael Nadal and Richard Gasquet, this one overenthusiastically called Clash of the Titans.
Yea, I didn’t think so either.
