The Hillbot aka HillRod aka Senator Hillary Clinton, came and spoke for all of 45 minutes. I stood in line at 9.30 in the morning and didn’t leave Assembly Hall until 3pm. You do the math.
It’s a good thing I can’t vote (I keep telling those who try to register me that I’ve got a felony).
You gotta love that banner behind her. They could’ve totally spent the 10 bucks at our school’s plotter to print a high quality sign. Though someone did quip that the campaign was probably going for the “grass roots” look. Like, us peepuhl in the midwest are all about home-made signs.
Speaking of being misunderstood… A CBSnews blogger, Fernando Suarez, can’t even get the school name right, calling us the University of Indiana. Listen, bub… it’s *Indiana University*, mmkaay? We are I.U. I understand if you’re a little confused there, Fred. But unlike silly University of Kansas, who call themselves KU, we don’t switch our initials around.
Oh yea, I was seated that close. And my camera sux.
kthx.
