March Madness: Final Phase

Yea, so I thought I’d sneak in one more unabashed lovefest for Stephanie March before the month runs out and I can no longer call it March Madness. (Where the hell did the month go?!)

E!Online apparently got God Executive Producer Neal Baer to talk abit more about who bites the dust at the end of this season. Nothing exciting and every answer he gives is vague and open ended. But there was one bit that I was really thrilled to read:

Neal did confirm that Michaela McManus won’t be back onĀ SVU

Well, sweet lord, the world rejoyeth! This is clearly one of those cases where it’s not that the fans didn’t give the character a chance, it’s the fact that Wolf/Baer made a horrible casting choice, realised it a little too late and had to scramble to save what’s left of this season. I guess in a way we have to thank Michaela McManus in having a hand in helping to bring back Cabot.

I snuck a glance at the teaser for this week’s episodeĀ [YouTube]… you know the one where Miss Stephanie was all excited about on The Today Show cause she got to shoot at the UN Building. Looks to be like one o’ them preachy story about some global issue or another. God save us all.

Yes, I don’t know why it seems so difficult for (mostly northamerican) screen writers to include important issues without making it so insultingly blatent — maybe it’s because they know their audience …

Hey, did you make that great collage?? I just LOVE Steph in ordinary clothes – yeah, I know, she’s great in whatever clothes (and I’m sure also … … I just got gagged by my significant other ;-) )

Thank goodness, Ms. McManus will have to find a new job. In a way, I almost feel sorry for her, she had shitty writing through and through. But, it also didn’t help that she had problems in the acting department herself.

Okay, I’ll officially join you in your efforts to bring Alex back for good and keep drumming the roll – uh, rolling the drum everywhere.

    :-)

small addendum: if my other message looks a bit odd, it’s because i included ‘stage notes’ that were cut out by the blog system. not because i was so noooghty, but because i used angle brackets, like for html – silly me. sorry.

DF – yea i *slaved* over that collage using a program called Shape Collage. Took me all of like three minutes. lol. Also, sorry that the blog cut out the angle brackets stuff. heheheh.
[oh yea, I don't think you can hide the name in the petition. not a very feature-packed website, that one.]
