I’m always right

This entry is a bit of smug, self-approving type of thing but it then goes on to talk about other stuff though…

From AIM earlier…

Bro: hahahah you’re so right……founder of bfm went to harvard
Me: OMG hahaha

The backstory – some time ago there was a conversation in the car where I punctuated my statement with, “Don’t argue; I’m always right!” and the brother goes, “That’s my line!” and I was like, “No, it’s mine… I guess we’re just both so damn perfect then.”

Soon after that, I started a game counting the times where he’d admit that I was right or vice versa. It’s a simple game… the other person doesn’t necessarily has to be wrong, they just have to admit that the other’s supposition or assertion has been supported by facts uncovered/discovered at a later time.

The brother does not know I’m playing this game. So far, I’m ahead by a couple counts.

Now, onto, why I was right about the owner of BFM – a radio station outfit that’s fairly new. My bro turned me onto BFM when I got back. Said he, “You gotta listen to this station, it’ll remind you of being in the States.” He was right (damn). 89.9 FM quickly became the number 1 preset in our car. The music was definitely more American – come on, would any other station you know here play Steve Earle? Yea, didn’t think so.

So we talk about BFM quite often. Our theory is that this guy misses the states as much as we do. And I said he’s definitely someone who went to school there, probably business school since BFM is The Business station – its target market are those in the corporate world. I said, “Probably Harvard Business or some other high falutin school like that.”

Turns out, I’m right.
