Just because I didn’t HATE the episode, it doesn’t mean I like it. Got a few more thoughts but that’ll have to wait till later. I just wanted it to be on the record that this ep is nothing like.. you know.. Swing or Lead. I was merely… mollified by the extraordinary number of good looking outfits Alex was sporting.

The more I think about it, the more it bugs me because this episode was essentially an Alex Cabot character assassination piece. Mostly because it seemed like her lines, like in every episode post Lead, were written for Kimmie Gibbler– I mean Greyleck. So, Invasion of The Body Snatchers happens; it looks like a Cabot, it walks like a Cabot, but it doesn’t *ACT* like a Cabot! Which kinda explains why I thought Stephanie March looked like she wanted to poke her own eyes out while examining M.E. Warner in court. Sleepwalking through scenes, dialing it in, whatever you want to call it, it was pretty uncomfortable to watch them lecture me about measles.
Some of the B.S. leaps they’ve made in the season prepared me for those WTF moments so we won’t talk about Giant. Ass. Plotholes.
I stand by my other statements – there wasn’t enough Olivia (er, probably because Mariska just returned from that hospitalization), Trevor Langan deserved to win the case, Alex Cabot blinded me with nice clothes and all-round hotness.
