that’s unfortunate

The words Stephanie March and White House all together in one sentence gets me all a twitter. So even though Smarch wasn’t at the White House or doing anything White House-y, I’m excited to report sightings of the erstwhile Best-ADA-on-SVU-ever was at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

That dress is all kinds of unfortunate.

Wish I had more to report. The only thing I know for sure is that Smarch spoke to a CNN guy, a AC360 guy, and this is what he has to say:

“I talked with that former Law and Order prosecutor/actress, Stephanie March, some. She was friendly, but seemed to get a little irritated when after everything she said I went, ‘DUH-DUNHT!’” [Source]

Everybody thinks they’re funny after the Correspondents’ Dinner…

The title to your blog post: so true! Sad, and true. That dress – a chapter from the non-bestseller: “How to make a really beautiful person look not pretty at all, and actually quite silly.”

    Overheard at my place:
“Hey, look, her boob-tape is showing!”
    “Nope. That’s the stupid dress.”
“Could she look more like she has no boobs at all?”
    “Nope. That’s the stupid dress.”
[About a different shot in that photo series.]“You think she’s drunk? She looks like it.”
“Yup. Free booze. You know, Steph likes her free booze.”
“Good. So maybe nobody will notice the stupid dress.”

Steph’s been busy this weekend.. Well, she’s still insisting on using that silly way of posing that looks like she needs to pee, but that dress is a tad better.

A tad, because she doesn’t look silly and actually quite hot (could also be the absence of Bobby).

But, only a tad, because the dress looks like a mummy wrapping made from chain mail – that, or self-knit.

She needs a new pair of shoes. Not that I’ve been noticing or anything….
