my blog is acting weird. or should i say, the database is acting weird…

urgh.

The blog, or perhaps the server is behaving very strangely lately. I’m not very pleased. Not at all. Not one bit.

I just noticed, while using the school’s PC to access the web that this blog doesn’t look really good on Internet Explorer.

I’d fix it if I really cared. Instead, may I suggest you who remains masochistic enough to plod on with IE to make the switch – Firefox; it’s magic.

money, it seems, also keeps your blog up. Pardon the disruption of service but the host had my old card on file and therefore could not auto renew my payment.

normal blogging activity will resume shortly with topics such as but not limited to: MUN weekend, the perils of heels and I’m-so-old-I’m-networking.

Hah. It works. I’m a genius… at following instructions.

And whilst the thing was doing its thing (uploadinglah) I checked this blog’s stats and holy crap I had a traffic surge on March 6th and 7th, like 4x the normal traffic! All because one of my guestblogger’s article from March 4th got linked to ‘nother obviously more widely read blog.

I wonder if it’s because we were talking about they-who-crush-all-dissenters.

Anyway.. back to your regular (and sometimes not so regular) servings of nonsensical jibbering.

EDIT: Yes, Firefox browsers can’t see my blog. And somehow i managed to flood petalingstreet.org.. hope they won’t ban me or soemthing. Honest, mistake, sirs. Too tired to fix the code for Firefox. Will iron out issues tomorrow. Going to bed.

This is advance warning to you who read my blog (all 7 of you) that I’m going to upgrade WordPress to ver 2.0.1. Things might go wrong cause Murphy’s my best mate and if they do you’ll hear about it.

New year, new look. I’ve finally gotten around to changing the header for the blog. What ya think?

The previous design was a cropped photo of one of my favourite taken at Santa Monica Beach, California.

But change we must, to avoid taking things too complacently. Even if it is just the look of the blog.

I just joined feedburner… although I’m still not completely sure what I’ve gotten myself into. But yea, if you’re subcribing to this blog via RSS, Atom and god knows what else, I use feedburner now. My burned feed URL is:

Technology is fun!

IE is a piece of junk. It also hates my blog. And I really don’t care to fix it.

If it wasn’t for someone complaining I would have never found out that anybody using a Firefox browser to access this blog will get an error. Haiyaa…

It’s fixed now, hopefully. Only Firefox is ever so stubborn/strict about parsing HTML.

testing a new plugin for the blog – it allows for the ‘mood’ and ‘music’ fields. (also got TV field but i got no TV here)

I’m not in over my head in this one, yet. As I was checking my old files I did really miss the previous spartan look of the blog.

I’m attempting (once again) to move this blog to WordPress from Greymatter. The last time I attempted this, I screwed up alot of files in a major got-bitch-slapped kind of way. And I got very frustrated then.
