It was only this past Monday that I was telling someone how much I loved Mathnet and Square One TV. The Mathnet series was a spoof of, duh, Dragnet and each episode was about 5-7 minutes, if I recall. In place of cops, you get two mathmeticians. One of them is obviously George there and his partner is Kate Monday. They solved crime using maths (no, not like they do in that silly Numb3rs show). The partners dressed in jacket and tie, and wore shoulder holsters that held a calculator. Oh, that killed me. I was a crime show junkie before I knew what “procedurals” meant.

Whatever happened to good educational programs eh?

Etchly, I wanna play SimCity. Not Simcity 4 cause it’s stupid hard. I wanna play Simcity 3000.

Why? Because it looks really entertaining and it’s done by the same people who did Love Actually which is quickly becoming my favorite Christmas movie.

Did I mention I was really disappointed with The Wrestler? I didn’t? OK. The Wrestler was a let down. Everything you needed to know you already saw in the trailer.

Just got done watching Revolutionary Road. That one was only one step up from The Wrestler in not quite meeting expectations. This is a Sam Mendes film. The guy who made American Beauty. Problem was Revolutionary Road was a little too much like American Beauty with none of the latter’s charm and heh, beauty. Real shame because I’ve always been attracted to stories about the scary suburbs sucking the life out of you.

(Embarrassingly enough, I didn’t make it out to see Talentime and I’m pretty sure it’s no longer playing in the theaters. At least the ones near me.)

It quotes Rilke (automatic +10), delineates like-minded people as romantics and idealists and rebels… how could I resist? Labels are so easy, aren’t they?

So, yes. Yes, I think I’ll refer those who give me shit about being single to this website. But no, I don’t really care for labels. No ‘quirkyalone’ on my business card.

And in those moments where I question my values and beliefs, there is now outside validation – it’s important that this comes from people who aren’t friends – and remind me that I’m not completely off the grid.

A toss up between Mandy from Season 1 and Congressman Santos from the later seasons. The latter probably wins this title by a hair.

XF crossover with Will & Grace? It would involve Karen mocking Scully’s outfits and Mulder having a crush on Grace and Will and Jack drool over Mulder. Oh and there’s a mystery in NYC that needs solving. Yea.

4. Who is your favorite ship from #6?
Ummm…. Tasha Yar and Data??

5. If you were to set one person from #3 and one person from #6 on a blind date, who would they be?
Oh definitely President Roslyn and Captain Picard. That way Dr. Crusher and Admiral Adama can stew and be all jealous and shite.

6. If you could meet one person from #4 and spend the day with them, who would it be and what would you do?
I’d spend the day with Jed Bartlet and be schooled on how dumb I am compared to him. Then I’d rag on him about how much Notre Dame sucks.

7. If you could change one thing about #2′s plotline, what would you change?
HAH. I would bring back real special victims crimes and Alexandra Cabot f’shizzle!

8. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from show #5 and why you like the relationship between them.
Naturally, I like the relationship between Will and Grace because I can relate to the dysfunctional friendship between the fag and his hag.

9. If the lead title characters (first names in the credits) from #1 and #3 were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be?
David Duchovny or Edward James Olmos? I’d pick Eddie.

10. If you could change the title characters’ order in the credits for #4, what order would you choose?
Wouldn’t change anything in the first four seasons of West Wing for anything.

11. If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline of #6, what would the character be like, and what would their role be?
I’d like to have seen a kick ass female character to replace Tasha Yar. Troi, the only regular female character is/was irritating.

12. What happens in your favorite episode of show #2?
Season 4, an episode called “Guilt”. A certain lawyer gets a dressing down from the judge for playing fast and loose with the law, then gets suspended for a month *and* an ass chewing from her boss for “setting civil liberties back about fifty years”. All the while looking really hot.

13. If you could kill off one of the characters in #1, who would it be and how would you do it?
Marita The Cow Covarrubias.

14. If you got the chance to visit the set for either show #3 or show #5, which would you choose?
Well, I’ve already been to the taping of Will & Grace so I guess I pick BSG!
